3. Information Processed Locally
All data you input into GST Executive (Excel files, GST returns, ITC registers, etc.) is processed locally on your computer. The software reads, consolidates, and saves files only on your system storage without transmitting them externally.
4. Permissions and Access
The application may request permission to access folders or files for importing/exporting Excel data. These permissions are used solely for enabling you to select files for processing and saving output reports.
5. Data Retention
Since no personal data is collected or transmitted, we do not retain any user data. All files remain under your control within your device.
6. Security
GST Executive is designed to operate completely offline, minimizing exposure to external security risks. You are responsible for maintaining security of your own files and system environment.

Under the GDPR, the lawful basis for processing your data (if any) is “legitimate interest” — limited to the local, offline operation of the software for GST compliance and reporting purposes.

The Software does not use any analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking services. Purchases and licensing are handled solely by Microsoft Corporation via the Microsoft Store, which maintains its own privacy policies.
